With the addition of photovoltaic modules or solar collectors onto the roof of your sunspace, you can produce earth-friendly electricity and hot water. Bob Chew pioneered the use of solar sunspaces in the late 70's and has designed and built hundreds of sunrooms— he knows what will work and what won't work. He will use this knowledge to design with you a sunroom or solar sunspace that is both architecturally attractive, energy efficient and comfortable. Our most popular sunroom uses a combination of casement windows or fixed glazing stacked over venting awning windows. We use venting skylights with different sunscreening accessories to ensure that your sunroom won't become a "hotbox" in the summer. All of our windows and skylight glazings meet DOE/EPA Energy Star approval guidelines.
