Bob Chew founded RemodelWrights in 1998 and is an expert in green building materials and construction methods. Chew designs many of RemodelWrights' projects with a speciality in designing kitchens, sunrooms, additions and decks. An expert in remodeling, he is a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), a Certified Remodeler (C.R.) and a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and was chosen as a "BIG 50" remodeler by REMODELING Magazine in 1987. Prior to starting RemodelWrights, Bob was the founder and owner of R.W. Chew Remodelers and Barrington Kitchens, which he ran for 19 years. Bob's career started as a boat builder and included working for Dyer Boats, Westsail, and Mystic Seaport. Bob has also worked as an Architectural Designer/Project Manager for Acorn Homes and Deck House, as a Project Manager for Davitt Design/Build, and as a State Director for Solar Works, Inc. Bob has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and has long been a strong proponent of green building and the use of renewable energy. Bob puts on many workshops on the subject of Green Building and Solar Energy throughout the country and is writes articles for many national trade magazines. Our Project Managers work in the field to closely monitor your project.

RemodelWrights®, Corp. is a design/build residential remodeling firm, with expertise in environmentally friendly building materials and construction techniques. Examples of this include the use of building materials made from sustainably harvested timber or recycled material, and energy efficient design and construction techniques, including the use of solar energy for electricity, hot water, and heating. RemodelWrights' particular product focus is building additions, sunrooms and decks, as well as remodeling kitchens and baths. RemodelWrights' sister company SolarWrights®, Inc., installs solar hot water and solar electric systems on many of our projects.
